Door Supervisor SIA Training
Until August 2010 the course will be as follows:
The National Certificate for Door Supervisors is run over four days and consists of classroom training and 2 hours of multiple choice examinations.
The price for the training is just £180 + VAT per person

Part 1 - Role and Responsibilities of Door Supervisors in the Security Industry Environment (14 hours)

- Standards of Behaviour
- Civil and Criminal Law

- Arrest
- Drugs Awareness
- Recording Incidents and Crime Scene Preservation
- Licensing Law
- Equal Opportunities
- Health and Safety at Work Act
- Emergency Procedures
Part 2 - Communication Skills and Conflict Management (14 hours)
- Introduction to Communication Skills and Conflict Management
- Application of Communication Skills and Conflict Management
How long will it take?
Four days, with 28 hours of classroom learning and will involve passing two multiple choice examinations.
Who will carry out the training?
Repton Training Limited has a number of trainers to deliver this qualification all of whom hold the 7302 or 7303 Certificate in Delivering Adult Learning as well as an 1886 in teaching conflict resolution and have sector competence.
Where will the training take place?
It would be carried out at our training centre in Derby city centre, however if a company has 10 + candidates for the training then Repton Training Limited can deliver the programme at an agreed location.
Please note, this training is all that is needed in order to apply for a Door Supervision Licence from the SIA.
